Eileen O'Kennedy-Dunlap, T.C.R.G.

Eileen is a world qualifying dancer and has been teaching Irish Dance with the O'Hare School since 1998. In 2003 Eileen expanded the school to the Cleveland area followed by a second expansion to the Medina area in 2007. Eileen, a mother of 3 including a 2-time Midwest Champion, has instructed World, National and Midwestern Champions in both solo and ceili (group) dance. Eileen most recently coached an under 12 ceili team that medaled at the World Championships in April of 2009 followed by a 2nd place win at the North American National Championships in July 2009.

Sarah Gerhard

Sarah Gerhard began dancing at the young age of 4 under the direction of her mother, Kathleen Nugent-Gerhard, TCRG in Dayton, OH. During her competitive days, Sarah achieved top placements at the regional, national, and international levels. She has also brought home three medals from the All-Ireland Championships and has competed at the World Championships of Irish Dancing multiple times. Alongside her mother at The Nugent School, she has helped train dancers that have attained spots on the podium regionally, nationally, and even top 5 placements at the World Championships. Sarah has had the privilege of attending workshops and being influenced by top dancers including Ryan Carroll, Colin Dunne, Don McCarron, and Kristin Butke. Sarah also has a deep passion for Irish music. She enjoys playing both the fiddle and the flute. Sarah graduated from Loyola University Chicago in May 2015 with degrees in Biology and Dance. She feels fortunate to have learned about other styles of dance, most notably Ballet, Modern and Jazz, at an institution with highly regarded faculty. It has certainly influenced her as a dancer, herself, as well as a dance educator. Sarah plans to attend Medical School in hopes of becoming a Pediatrician. Sarah is thrilled to be in Ohio teaching for the O’Hare School of Irish Dance. She looks forward to working with your dancer to achieve his or her goals.

Kristin Butke Zagorski, TCRG; ADCRG

Kristin Butke Zagorski was born in Akron, Ohio and began Irish dancing at the age of four. She trained under two-time world champion Tim O’Hare. While competing, Kristin achieved seven Midwest Regional titles, ranging from Under 8 to Over 21 and was the 2001 North American Senior Ladies Champion. Kristin placed 4th at the World Championships in 1993 and 1994 and took the bronze medal in 1997. After taking off five years to dance professionally, Kristin returned to the competitive scene in 2002 at the age of 25 to capture the bronze medal again at the World Championships and the silver medal at the All-Ireland Championships. Kristin’s professional experience begin in 1997 when she toured with Lord of the Dance as a chorus member, then as the principle dancer in the role of Morrighan in Las Vegas and danced opposite Michael Flatley in the role of Cleopatra in Feet of Flames. In August 2003, she performed as Grainne in the Celtic rock musical Celtic Fusion. Kristin has also performed with the Chieftains, the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Memphis Symphony Orchestra. She has also toured and performed with the world-renowned all-female band Cherish the Ladies. Upon passing her TCRG (certified Irish Dance teacher) in the fall of 2002, Kristin began teaching in Nashville, Tennessee. Kristin has trained four teachers who successfully passed the TCRG exam. In January of 2007, Kristin passed her ADCRG (certified judge). Kristin is married to Steve Zagorski and they have two sons and a daughter.
